Is gabion same as riprap?
Gabions are prefabricated wire mesh-enclosed containers knotted together for filling stones purposes. The gabions are more immense than the enclosed riprap but similarly, it forms a layer same to the riprap. The enclosed riprap can also be filled with stones but gabions can acquire larger stones than riprap.
