Military 358 Fence – 6-Step Rapid Installation Guide
Step 1: Reconnaissance & Marking
Survey terrain, mark post centers (spacing 2.5m). Avoid underground cables/mines.
Step 2: Post Hole Excavation
Dig holes 1200mm deep for 3m posts. Use auger for hard soil. Add gravel base.
Step 3: Post Setting & Concrete
Insert posts, brace plumb. Pour military-grade C30 concrete. Curing: 48 hours (accelerated with additives if needed).
Step 4: Panel Mounting (H-Post system)
Slide 358 panels into H-slots. Use rubber mallet to seat fully. No exposed bolts on secure side.
Step 5: Top Razor Wire & Sensors
Bolt Y-extensions. Install 3 coils concertina razor wire. Attach fiber optic sensor cable to clips (optional).
Step 6: Final Tactical Inspection
Check post plumb (<2mm/m), panel alignment, bolt torque (60 Nm). Verify gate operation and lock engagement. Document as-built.
